What no one considers about “Eviction Attorneys” in Atlanta

I was at a trial in Clayton County in early July 2026, as a simple witness to lack of rental payments.

As is standard with Metro Atlanta court cases, the Judge encouraged us to perform a final meditation, in this case with the client’s attorney & owner (the owner hired this attorney independently). We went out to the hall, and immediately the attorney started saying all of the wrong things.

Things like how you can really just set when you want to pay, or when you want to vacate. Or after the Judge issues a Writ, you probably still have 30 days to hang around the property because the Marshals are backed up.

WHAT IN TARNATION??!?!?!?

It took all of me to not take the attorney out to the bathroom, and tell him to just be quiet.

Not just because all of what he just said was categorically false, and incomprehensible to be certain of, but because he is NOT PROTECTING HIS CLIENT’S INTERESTS!

Once I took a breath, I went ahead and respectfully pressed aside everything the attorney just said and told the tenant statements that actually protected the owner of the property in terms of the debt being paid expediently after eviction, the ramifications of not following through on that, and that the Marshals can be accelerated to go out there within 7 days.

Whether you go with our company to help your eviction process or with an attorney…Please be discerning, and ask how many cases have you had real world application experience on?

Just because an attorney has spent a long time in law school, does not necessarily mean they know the ins & outs of eviction case law & statutes well through the hard-hitting-game it can sometimes feel like, while also learning how to tread through all of that without getting your case dismissed.
